IV the Session of IX the National Committee of the CCPPCh

IV the Session of IX the National Committee of the CCPPCh, celebrated in Peking from the 3 to the 12 of March of 2001, counted on the attendance of 1.952 of its 2.266 members.

In IV the Session of IX the Permanent Committee of the CCPPCh, their members listened to and examined the report of their work presented/displayed by Ye Xuanping, Vice-president of the Permanent Committee of IX the National Committee, as well as the report of the work of the motions presented/displayed by Vice-president Wan Guoquan, to name of the Permanent Committee; they attended IV the National Popular Assembly, and listened to and they discussed to the Report on the Scheme of the Program of the X Quinquennial Plan for the Economic and Social Development presented/displayed by the Premier Zhu Rongji, as well as other information. The delegates praised the enormous successes achieveed about China during the period of IX the Quinquennial Plan, they expressed his approval to the Scheme of the X Quinquennial Plan and presented/displayed numerous and valuable observations and suggestions.

The session received 3.585 motions altogether. According to the regulations of work of the CCPPCh, the Commission of Motions examined the received motions and encausaron 3.442, number that represented the 96,01% of the total number.

According to the program, the session chose by means of individual voting to Ye Shaoyan, That XI, Zhang Rongming, Chen Kangpu, Shao Huaze, Hao Jianxiu, GUI Shiyong, Liang Congjie, Shu Shengzou like additional members of the Permanent Committee of IX the National Committee. Also it approved the resolution political of IV the Session of IX the National Committee of the CCPPCh, the resolution on the report of the work of the Permanent Committee of IX the National Committee, the resolution on the report of the motions presented/displayed from III the Session of IX the Permanent Committee, as well as the report of the Commission of Motions on the examination of the motions presented/displayed in IV the Session of IX the Permanent Committee of the CCPPCh.

The session calls to the diverse democratic parties, the diverse associations and the personalities of the diverse ethnic groups and circles, to persist and to perfect the system of multipardista cooperation under the direction of the PCCh and the system of consultation policy, to consciously obey and to serve the national situation as a whole, to effectively act as of political consultation, democratic supervision and participation and deliberation of the government subjects, and to deliver attacks successfully to fulfill the diverse tasks raised in the scheme of the X Quinquennial Plan, to promote the construction of the modernization of China, to realize the reunification of the mother country and to safeguard world-wide La Paz and to promote the joint development.

In China, the popular organizations, true bridges and bows between the popular PCCh and government, on the one hand, and masses, on the other, constitute an important one to pound social of the power of the State and play a great role in the socialist democratic life.
