State bodies
In agreement with the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, the central state structure of China is composed by six main organs: the National Popular Assembly, the Presidency of the State, the Council of State, the Central Military Commission, the Supreme Popular Court and the Supreme Popular Office of the public prosecutor.
The President of the State, the Council of State, the Central Military Commission, the Supreme Popular Court and the Supreme Popular Office of the public prosecutor are named by the National Popular Assembly and respond before her and their Permanent Committee.
